Liberal, Missouri
Here are some scans shared by Bob Ball. Bob's grandfather, Max Davidson, had a Ford dealership in Liberal from 1911 to 1923. This new building was built in 1917. Bob tells that Max would take the train to Kansas City to the Ford factory and drive each car down the existing roads of that time. That in itself resulted in many adventures for Mr. Davidson. Bob also says that the frame building to the right was torn down and Max built the theater there.

Bob tells that his grandparents, Max and Dora Davidson, were married in Liberal in 1901.

This is Pauline Davidson. Bob says that the back of the photo says age 18 months. She was born December 20, 1903 and the photo was taken during summer 1904.

There had been a celebration south of town at Walser's Catalpa Park. Dora Davidson, pushed Pauline to the park in this wicker baby buggy from town. There was a baby contest and Pauline won a blue ribbon. Therefore they decided to have her photo taken and you can see the blue ribbon pinned to her dress.

Bob tells that his Aunt Pauline became the wife of druggist Francis Jones.
